Driffield Ukulele Band
A ukulele band is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face!

Who We Are
In early Spring 2019, a few enthusiastic ukulele players from the Driffield area decided that although playing solo ukulele was good, playing with other like-minded performers was so much better – and a lot of fun.
And so, the Driffield Ukulele Band was born.
What we do
We play a variety of musical genres – pop, folk, country, rock, blues- anything goes! We play at all types of events – parties, charity functions, fetes and festivals, concerts, pub evenings, clubs and institutions, day care centres, residential care homes – if you fancy hearing some lively, fun-filled music then we can help. Take a look at the Future Bookings section below.
2026
Our busy summer season is now over, culminating in a very enjoyable and well attended performance at Sewerby Hall Orangery – one of our favourite venues. Here we were pleased to be joined by Ian K Brown, an accomplished Northumberland based singer/songwriter/musician. Ian performs at festivals across the North so it was great to have him as a guest performer. As we move into Autumn and Winter we hope to return to the care homes and day care centres around the area. We enjoy playing at these venues and are always very well received. Before long we will be looking ahead to our Christmas programme. The festive season is usually a busy time and we already have bookings in our calendar. Proceeds from all gigs this year will be donated to the RNLI in Bridlington – our chosen charity for 2026.
During the pandemic we made several videos which can be seen on YouTube. We hope to make more videos but have been too busy this year to find time. However, once we do, they will be added to YouTube, so watch this space!
Our calendar fills up fast and we look forward to adding more bookings, so please contact us if you would like us to come along and play for you.
The Driffield Ukulele Band is community centred. We welcome connections with other musicians and singers and from time to time audition for new members. We also welcome roadies and sound engineers. We practise on Wednesday afternoons. Please talk to us through Facebook or this website – let us know which instruments you play and your voice range. https://www.facebook.com/groups/396747060930656 or https://driffieldukuleleband.com/
